You did it! You figured out how to offer online workouts to your members and prospects. You now have a totally new revenue stream. Woo hoo!

But that revenue stream will dry up unless you know how to get new members enrolled in your online offerings.

We have four ideas for you to think about/try on for size when it comes to promoting your virtual workouts and services.

Because the hard part (creating the online service) is over. Now, you just need to get more members enrolled.

1. Show prospects how to get started at your studio.

Create a video (videos are very impactful) that explains how a potential client gets started at your studio. What do they need to do? Should they buy equipment? Do they need former experience? How often should they work out? What clothing is best? What time of day should they train? What tech do they need?

Answer all of the questions that a potential client might ask. And answer them in a well-produced, fun video!

And the best part? These videos don’t have to be over-produced. You can shoot a fantastic promo video using nothing more than your iPhone.

2. Shoot and share quality promo videos.

Now, more than ever before, people are buying online. So it’s critical that the media you share with your audience is great

In addition to your “How to Get Started” promo video, create and share videos showcasing:

3. Use the high volume, low price model for your online services.

In a brick and mortar studio, as you get more clients, you need to:

But when you offer online workouts, as your member base increases, your overhead costs go up only slightly. So you can offer your services at a low price as long as you have a lot of paying clients. Consider dropping your prices and focus on volume when it comes to your online workouts.

4. Try your luck with freemium offers.

Freemium offers (a pricing strategy by which a basic product or service is provided free of charge, but money (a premium) is charged for additional features and services) is an excellent way to grow your online fitness business.

Imagine this:

You offer a daily newsletter that’s free to all subscribers. In the daily newsletter, you share information, studio insights, cool research, and even an occasional free online workout. This newsletter is free to anyone who subscribes.

But you offer an upgraded, paid newsletter where subscribers receive your studio’s daily online workout in addition to the newsletter content.

You can even offer an upper tier where members get a weekly Zoom check-in with a trainer in addition to the daily workouts and newsletter.

Using the freemium pricing strategy, you can attract enormous amounts of subscribers (since your basic offer is free) and then sell them your studio’s additional services over time.

Cheers to growth!
